Soft Toys – My Huggable Friends & Adventures
Hi! I want to tell you all about my soft toys. I have so many, and every single one is my friend. They are soft, squishy, and so much fun.
The first one I hug in the morning is Teddy. He’s big and soft, and sometimes I squeeze him so tight that he squeaks a little. Mommy laughs and says, “Don’t squish him too much!” but I don’t care. Teddy is my best friend, and he always wakes me up for adventures.
Next is Bunny. Bunny has the longest ears, and I like to twirl them around my fingers when I’m thinking. Bunny likes to sit beside me when I have breakfast, and I tell him about my dreams while I eat my cereal. Sometimes I pretend he eats too, and then we have a giggly breakfast together.
And then there’s Puppy. He is small, but very brave. Puppy is my helper. He goes everywhere with me — on the couch, under the table, and even on my blanket rocket ship to the moon. Puppy never complains. He just barks when I laugh, and sometimes I think he laughs too.
Morning Adventures
After breakfast, I gather my soft toys. Teddy, Bunny, and Puppy line up on the floor. We pretend the carpet is a jungle. I make a little bridge with pillows and a tunnel with a blanket. Teddy climbs the bridge. Bunny sneaks through the tunnel. Puppy guards the entrance.

Talking and Laughing
Soft toys are magical because they listen. I tell them secrets, like:
- “I really want a chocolate cake today!”
- “I don’t like broccoli.”
- “I’m going to be the fastest car driver in the world!”
Teddy nods. Bunny giggles. Puppy barks. And suddenly, I feel like they really understand me. Sometimes I imagine them talking back in funny voices. Teddy says, “You can do it!” Bunny whispers, “You are funny!” Puppy says, “Let’s play!”
That makes me laugh so hard that I almost fall off my chair.
Afternoon Play
After lunch, we have a tea party. Teddy and Bunny sit on chairs. Puppy sits politely on the floor. I pour imaginary tea, hand them pretend cookies, and we all laugh.
Then we switch. Teddy rides my toy car. Bunny is the driver, and Puppy is the passenger. We race across the floor, jump over pillows, and land on a cushion safely. Mommy says, “Be careful!” but we are careful in our own way.

Nap Time and Comfort

When I close my eyes, I imagine we are floating on clouds. Teddy steers. Bunny makes sure we don’t bump into anything. Puppy guards our cloud from rain. I fall asleep smiling because my friends are always there.
Evening Adventures
After nap time, we build castles with blocks. Teddy is the king. Bunny is the princess. Puppy is the knight. We battle dragons (imaginary, of course) and save the day. Soft toys are always brave, even when I pretend the dragons are scary.
Sometimes, we have dance parties. I press a little music button on my toy speaker, and Teddy, Bunny, and Puppy “dance” with me. I spin, jump, and twirl. Soft toys may not move on their own, but in my imagination, they do everything I do.
Bedtime Stories
At night, Mommy reads a story. Teddy sits on my chest. Bunny leans against my arm. Puppy lays at my feet. I whisper to them about the story: “Teddy, do you think the dragon will eat the princess?” “Bunny, is the knight really brave?” They listen quietly, and I feel like they really care.
Then Mommy says goodnight. I hug my soft toys tight, whisper “I love you,” and drift off to sleep. My friends are with me. They are always with me.
